AV Technician and Project Manager

Location:

Winchester, Hampshire & on location, (UK & International Travel) 

Salary: 26K to 36K per annum + OVERTIME + TOIL + PENSION + PRIVATE HEALTH CARE + EXCELLENT PROGRESSION WITH THE GROWING TEAM

Responsibilities

We are looking for an AV Technician and Project Manager to join the growing team, to work on a busy calendar of planned events.  You will be responsible for the following:

  • Manage and operate AV equipment in a variety of event settings, to include conferences, events, live, virtual & hybrid.
  • As the project manager, you will be responsible for planning and running smaller events and supporting the technical team.
  • Communicate effectively with Production Managers and Clients regarding up-and-coming events and deliver your allocated area and team.
  • Prep, test and maintain live event equipment.
  • Assisting with loading and unloading trucks when transporting kit to/from site.
  • Using rental management software to check kit in & out and assist with stock control.
  • Assisting with warehouse maintenance, recycling & waste management.
  • International travel and onsite installations

The Candidate

The ideal candidate will have a keen interest in the technical delivery of live events, and there will be excellent training on offer for candidates with the enthusiasm to succeed in this role. All round experience in technical elements of event delivery is essential, covering lighting, sound, video, and safe working practices.
